Shakira has officially packed up her life, two children and headed for the USA.
The Colombian-native was residing in Barcelona, Spain for the past nine years. This was the city where she fell in love with Gerard Piqué and welcomed their two children.
It’s a city that she holds near and dear to her heart; however, last June it became a tarnished place to live due to Piqué’s philandering ways.

Earlier this week, Shakira shared a lengthy “goodbye” message to Barcelona and her previous life. She even took a few swipes at her cheating ex-partner of nearly 12 years.
“I settled in Barcelona to give my children a stability, the same we are now looking for in another corner of the world next to family, friends and the sea. Today we start a new chapter in the pursuit of their happiness,” her message began. “Thank you to everyone who surfed alongside me so many waves there in Barcelona, the city where I learned that friendship is certainly longer than love.”

Over the last year, Shakira has made major strides in her career.
She profited heavily off of her breakup from the former FC Barcelona defender which inspired a number of her most recent hits including “BZRP Music Sessions #53,” “Monotonía” and “TGQ.”
In fact, her latest song releases have made her fanbase go absolutely wild and become unhinged.
They’ve publicly chastised Piqué and his new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, in public. One restaurant owner turned down service to them, because his loyalty lied with Shakira.

According to reports, the online and public trolling has gotten to Piqué.
“My ex-partner is Latin American,” he said on a Twitch Livestream April 1st” “You don’t know what I’ve received from her fans on social media. Thousands of barbarities.”
Despite pointing out his frustrations with Shakira’s fans, the retired fútbol star said the social media comments are worth “zero” to him.
“I don’t care about anything, really,” Piqué continued. “It’s zero. It’s people who don’t have lives. How much care should you give them? It’s zero. You won’t ever know them in real life. They’re like robots.”
Well, it looks like Shakira got wind of his tantrum and seemingly responded to him on Twitter.
On April 2nd, she shared multiple Latin American flags and tweeted, “Proud to be Latin American.”

We recently reported that Shakira may have already found love in Miami, FL.
According to Spanish media outlet, OK Diario, the songstress has a romantic interest in Miami.
She reportedly met a “mystery man” months ago prior to releasing her diss track about her ex, Gerard Piqué.
“It seems the Colombian singer could have found a new illusion in the shape of a mysterious man she apparently met in Miami and has been in contact with for four months,” OK Diario reported over the weekend.
However, Shakira’s reps have denied these “mystery man” claims.
