The mission is Artemis 2. At the age of twelve, he joined the 614 Canadian Air Cadets in London, where he began his aviation journey. Air Cadet Gilder’s wings were bathed in Trenton in 1992. He was only 16 years old at this time. When he was 17 years old, he obtained the aforementioned license.

In 2009, he was one of two candidates selected by CSA through the third Canadian Astronaut Recruitment Campaign. The CSA generally recruits Astros who hold degrees in scientists, engineers and doctors.

One of the main expectations here is that Canadian citizens must also meet their physical test. As part of the Artemis program, CSA and NASA are said to be working together. After years of manual labor, Jeremy Hansen was one of the Canadian personalities charged with leading NASA’s astronaut class in 2017.

In October 2006, he was awarded the Canadian Forces Medal for 12 years of distinguished service. He was then awarded the Canadian Air Force Pilot Wings in May 2002. He was then awarded the Clancy Scheldrup Memorial Trophy in 2001 – Outstanding Graduate of the Basic Flying Course.

Following these awards, he was crowned the Air Cadet League of Canada Award in May 1999 – the best graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada. He was also honored as a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society (FRCGS) and awarded the Gold Medal of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society.
