Donald Trump Is The Butt Of Jokes
The former president of the United States has fallen off hard following news he is officially being indicted for allegedly paying hush money to Stormy Daniels ahead of his 2016 campaign. He is set to turn himself in by Tuesday morning; all anyone is talking about is the mugshot.
Seeing as the mugshot has taken on a life of its own, this morning on CNN with Don Lemon, lawyer Alina Habba, part of Trump’s legal team, claimed it should be private. She backed up her reasoning by using Trump’s 2024 election run.
“I like transparency. I think that in certain situations, it’s a good thing. I do have a problem with leaking pictures.” She further clarified. “I think that because we’re in a campaign because he’s the leading GOP candidate, it won’t help anything.”
Habba reminded Lemon that Mugshots are not public records, and seeing as Trump is a public figure, he should exercise his full rights.
She called it theatrical. “Mugshots are for people so that you recognize who they are. He is the most recognized face in the world, let alone the country right now, so there’s no need for that. There’s no need for the theatrics.”
Twitter Wants The Mug Shot
The Twitterverse is in an uproar. They want to see Trump at what could be his worst; while he won’t look it because he can turn himself in and make sure he looks presentable, we know he’s shooteth at least a little bit.

One follower of the trend helped those curious about the pending mugshot with their rendition. “Omfg, guys! The courts refuse to release the Trump mugshot, but luckily, they’re allowing a sketch of it. This is what we have from Manhattan so far.”
Another follower is anxiously waiting on the edge of their seat. “The Trump Mug Shot will be one of the most famous & powerful images of all time. Just watch 👀.”
People are brushing up on their photoshop skills and practicing making Trump look precisely how they need him. For some, that is Will Farrell’s character in Get Hard, where he plays a white man going to prison who hires a black man he ASSUMES has been to jail to “coach him” through the process.
Trump appears with cornrows and sunglasses in a business suit; it doesn’t seem like it would be far off. Another follower is planning a “png” that will blow the minds of even the most prominent Trump supporters.
“The #TrumpMugShot will be so amazing. The pic heard around the world. The pic that launched a thousand ships. A png that will live in infamy. Memes in our time.”
Donald Trump Is On His Way
In the meantime, Trump has been spotted exiting Mar-a-Lago and is expected to get to New York City by noon, and his plane, known as Trump Force One, has been spotted landing at LaGuardia airport.
Trump’s arraignment is set for 2:15 on Tuesday.
