A man has reportedly abandoned his wife who recently delivered a baby simply because she gave birth to another female child.
This was shared on Twitter by a midwife identified as @kemziekayy as she revealed that the woman has been in the hospital for three days with no sign of her husband.
@Kemziekayy said that she still finds it difficult to believe that in this age some men still believe that women are to be blamed for the gender of a child.

She wrote:
“I can’t believe in this day and age some Nigerian men still don’t know that having all female kids isn’t the woman’s fault…that’s how this man hasn’t come to see his wife in the hospital since she gave birth 3 days ago because she had another girl.”
