No, not everyone can be verified on Instagram. The platform states that an individual has to be 18 or over to be verified. You will also be required to submit a government ID to ensure your username matches.

At the moment, the platform is still in the testing stage and hence, the freedom to opt for Meta Verified is only available to those living in Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.

If you are interested to get this, all you have to do is follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Go to settings on Instagram.
  2. Click on “Accounts Center” and then select “Meta Verified.”
  3. If your account is eligible, it will say “Meta Verified available.”
  4. Once you have selected your account, you will be prompted to select a payment method.
  5. You are then required to upload a government ID that has your photo. Keep in mind, the name on the ID must match the name on your social media platform.

Meta Verified will cost $11.99 a month on the web, or $14.99 for iPhone users

What are some of the features offered?

Meta Verified offers several advantages to people and one of them happens to be protection from impersonation. At the same time, you will have easy access to the support center.

As reported, it was also noted that the new Verified feature would allow accounts with smaller following to see the most notable change as it helps to get better reach.

Not to forget, these users will also enjoy some exclusive stickers that can be used on the platform.
