CHRISTINE McGuinness has revealed the “rota” behind the unusual living arrangement with Paddy after their split.

The model, who shares three children with the Top Gear presenter, is still sharing a house with her ex despite calling it quits last year.

Christine, 35, and Paddy, 49, called time on their eleven-year marriage last year, but have continued to live together.

The couple, who share twins Penelope and Leo, nine, and daughter Felicity, seven, who all have autism, have been sharing the parenting.

Now, Christine has opened up on her unusual home life – admitting that it “wasn’t a long term plan” to live in the same home.

She told The Mirror: “It is what it is but we are family, we are still living together. It’s not a long term plan, but for now, that really works.

“I think especially whilst we’re both so busy, we don’t want to change anything at home. 

“We just keep it on a rota so that he’s at home when I’m away and when’s away I’m at home and that works for us.”

It comes after Christine opened up on single life following her split with husband Paddy in a heartbreaking segment on her TV show.

She broke her silence on their painful break up on ITV show Loose Women earlier this month.

Back in November 2021 Christine revealed she had been diagnosed with autism – just like her three children.

She was then told that she also suffers with ADHD.

Speaking in a programme opening up about her diagnosis, Christine admitted that she was “petrified” of being alone.

She told the camera: “Our marriage – now that was major. I have been with my husband since I was 19.”

She added: “I can’t imagine life with anyone else. I don’t know what it’s like to date, I can’t remember being single.

“I don’t know what to do with it. I am going into a new chapter on my own – it has been petrifying for someone who doesn’t like change.”

Christine previously told how she was “really not fine” in the painful aftermath of their split.

She also admitted she stayed in her unhappy marriage because it made her feel “safe.”

Christine and Paddy are co-parenting their brood after their split last year.

At the time of their split, they each posted identical statements on Instagram where they opened up about the “difficult decision.”
