Victoria Pedretti posted a partial-nude birthday Instagram of herself that called out the inappropriate behavior of a “well-known actor.”
On March 23, You star Victoria Pedretti celebrated her 28th birthday with a series of reposted Instagram stories and a grid post that has now been taken down.
The Instagram post was a mirror selfie that showed the Netflix actress partially nude in a bathroom with a towel wrapped around her head. It is unclear whether the post was removed by the social media platform due to it breaching community guidelines or if Pedretti herself deleted it.

The partial nude was a love letter from Victoria Pedretti to her own body, “shout out to my body, I love you. You’re mine,” the actress wrote. “Wtf is partial nudity? Happy birthday to me” she added.
Rejecting the objectification of women’s bodies, Pedretti wrote, “Sometimes I enjoy modesty, sometimes I don’t. It’s a joke to think that my own modesty will protect me from any disrespect I may experience as a femme body.”

The caption of the deleted post revealed a darker reason behind Victoria’s choice to post the partial nude. She wrote that a “well known” actor had made a vulgar and inappropriate comment about her at a party.

She explained: “On my bday last year a “well known” actor walked up to me at a party and said ”I’ve j*cked off to you so many times “… I was shocked by the audacity. This is AFTER he expressed how much he RESPECTED me as an actor lol.” The Love Quinn actress did not say who the actor was.

Fans flocked to social media to show support for the birthday girl. “Victoria, I just want to thank you for being a huge role model for me. Helping me to learn how to love my body and myself. Your characters and acting inspire me in every single aspect,” one fan wrote on Instagram.
“She is so real and speaks on such important things we all need to aspire to be more like Victoria,” another said.
On Twitter, fans reacted to the vile comment Pedretti was subjected to. “That’s absolutely disgusting and degrading like is she supposed to think of that as a compliment ????? bc saying something like that is just sooo out of pocket and weird,” a user tweeted.
“I need his name and address so I can “nicely” talk to him,” another wrote.
