Tattoo artists reveal design people should never get: ‘Like a curse’

Don’t say they didn’t warn you!

A very specific type of ink tattoo artists say people should avoid also is quite popular: your partner’s name.

“Don’t do it, it’s like a curse, you’ll probably break up the next week if you do it,” an artist from Markd Tattoo in Australia said on TikTok. “I wouldn’t recommend it.

Lovers getting their name tatted on each other may seem like a charming and sweet way to show appreciation — but it’s a huge rule-breaker the tattoo artists warn against.

Three other artists at the shop also shared the same thought, bashing the idea that often ends in regret and an even more expensive coverup.

One of the shop’s artists gave an exception to getting your someone’s name tattooed on your body.
