Graeme Souness has said on Sky Sports Premier League (1:08pm, March 5, 2023) that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will win against Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The Liverpool legend and Sky Sports pundit is confident that the Merseyside club will pick up all three points from the encounter against the Red Devils.
Liverpool are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 39 points from 24 matches.
Klopp’s side are six points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, who have played 26 games.
Meanwhile, United currently find themselves third in the Premier League table with 49 points from 24 matches.

Souness said: “I fully expect them to turn up today. It has been a long time since I have been as confident about a Liverpool win against United as I am today.”

Big game
Liverpool and Manchester United are two of the biggest clubs in England and are historic rivals.
United are doing well at the moment and will fancy their chances of picking up at least a point at Anfield.
However, Liverpool have started to pick up points now, and we believe that the Merseyside club will turn up today.
We expect the match to end in a scored draw.
It should be a hugely exciting and entertaining game of football.
