Popular media personality, Shade Ladipo has roundly excoriated famous musician Burna Boy after he revealed the reasons for his silence during the 2023 elections.
The singer is known for his politically conscious tracks some of which addressed the 20.10.20 incident and others criticizing bad governance.
Following calls by fans to speak up during this epoch-making event, the ‘Odogwu’ crooner explained that he doesn’t believe in any of the candidate presently running for the election.

However, Shade Ladipo, in a post on her Instagram page, note to the musician that he should have promoted voters participation.
She called him a clown and an opportunist who take advantage of African issues to promote his music.
