Liam Gallagher Joins Nepo Baby Convo, Hits Hard At Criticism

Liam Gallagher has dropped his take on the continuous ‘nepo babies’ debate.

Since the publication of the article “An All But Definitive Guide To The Hollywood Nepo-Verse” last December, several well-known figures from the entertainment industry have shared their thoughts on the conversation.

So far, the list includes Lily Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Zoë Kravitz, and Kate Hudson, whose face was one of those plastered on the article’s cover. With his take, Gallagher has confirmed that he is unbothered by the criticism of children who established their careers through their parents’ fame.

Liam Gallagher Asks Nepo Babies Critics To “Zip It” In Social Media Rant

While the back and forth on ‘nepo babies’ continues, Liam has called those who have a problem with celebrity children who worked for their fame “jealous.” The “Don’t Look Back in Anger” singer shared his thoughts on Tuesday in a tweet that read:

“All this snizzle about famous folks kids out earning a crust [at] least they’re not out mugging old people zip it ya jealous ugly f**ks LG x.”

Although it seemed a little harsh, no true fan of the rocker was shocked by the outburst as one replied, “He’s lowkey a little wise.” A second person claimed, “the nepo baby debate is now settled. floor is closed to questions,” and a third clarified, “There’s nothing wrong with posh kids being successful; the problem is posh kids pretending to be poor.”

“Always can rely on Liam to say it exactly how it is!” A fourth fan yelled. However, a few critics pointed out the grace his kids were enjoying because of his popularity, with one guessing, “one of his kids has just done a nepotism then.”

One Twitter user asked him, “Lennon smashed the Burberry show. What did you think? Is he cooler than you yet?” In response, Liam tweeted, “He is at the moment as I’m mash-up, but I’ll be back saucier than ever.”

In case you missed it, the “Stand By Me” singer’s son Lennon walked for Burberry at the recently concluded London Fashion Week. The 23-year-old is a professional model who made his runway debut in 2017 and became the face of Saint Laurent menswear in 2018.

Aside from Lennon, Liam is also father to son Gene and daughters Gemma and Molly. Like Lennon, Molly and Gene are models, with the latter performing as a drummer with his father during last year’s Etihad Stadium show.

While the Gallagher kids are yet to share their thoughts on the nepo baby controversy, Hudson had no issue expressing how unconcerned she was about being called one. As reported by The Blast, the actress — born to screen star Goldie Hawn and musician Bill Hudson — said during an interview:

“I actually think there are other industries where it’s [more common]. Maybe modeling? I see it in business way more than I see it in Hollywood. Sometimes I’ve been in business meetings where I’m like, wait, whose child is this? Like, this person knows nothing!”

The mother-of-three added that being born to famous parents had nothing to do with success, claiming, “If you work hard and you kill it, it doesn’t matter.”

The Scottish Music Awards Winner Is Not Optimistic About A Reunion With His Former Band

The Blast observed last May that Liam talked about his relationship with his estranged brother, Noel, during an interview. Before the duo parted ways, they were part of the English rock band called Oasis, initially known as The Rain, alongside Paul McGuigan, Paul Arthurs, and Tony McCarroll.

Although the group produced some absolute bangers during their decades-long career, it was plagued with drama, including numerous firing and hiring moments. They eventually split in 2009 due to the alleged non-stop bickering between Liam and Noel — an occurrence that has not changed since then.

While Liam admitted his regret about the band’s breakup, considering how big they were at that point, fans should not hold their breath expecting a reconciliation.

“I like to think Oasis will get back together, but not this week. The door is ajar on everything. I wouldn’t be surprised if space aliens landed tomorrow. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were already here. I wouldn’t be surprised if God walks among us. I wouldn’t be surprised by all sorts,” Liam declared.
