According to documents obtained by The Blast, the singer is being sued by a company called Dream Watch which distributes high-end watches after he reached out to them to obtain a few watches for himself. He came across the company via Instagram and reached out to purchase 2 watches.

The suit claims one timepiece was a Richard Mille valued at $534,000, and the other was a Patek Phillippe Calibre valued at $378,000. In addition, the company allegedly arranged for one of their representatives to fly from Malaysia to the entertainer’s California home, the combined price of the designer watches was $912,000.

The purchase went down on May 9 when Sean agreed to buy the 2 watches. Seeing as he is famous, the company allowed the “Beautiful Girls” singer to obtain the watches and send his payment along.

The payment shouldn’t have been too far behind because it was agreed that a wire transfer would be the payment method.

Initially, Sean attempted to pay for the watches, but his wire transfer was declined. He blamed it on the large transaction amount, which makes sense, it’s not an everyday purchase, better safe than sorry.

Kinston then shared that his account was frozen due to the first attempt. Over the next three months, Sean continued to insist that the money was coming until he eventually stopped responding altogether.

The company continued to pursue Sean to obtain their money without success, they officially filed a formal demand for their money on July 1, 2022, with the company claiming that the musician still hadn’t paid up.

Sean Kingston Should Have The Money

Not for nothing, Sean’s hit song “Beautiful Girls” recently went certified platinum in Germany. The song came out in 2007 and was the Jamaican-born singer’s first hit. During its initial release, it peaked at number one in the United States, the United Kingdom, Scotland, New Zealand, Ireland, Hungary, Australia, and Canada.

Seeing as the hot was co-written by Sean one would assume he is getting a tiny bit of coin off of the song still and maybe; he can be a good guy and pay for those two watches.

The song hit another milestone in September hitting over 1 billion views on YouTube. He celebrated this milestone on his IG.

“Huge Blessing!. Billionaire Club 💛💚,” he bragged. And believe it or not, the song still slaps over a decade later. Fans in the comments shared how much they still love the reggae hit. “I guarantee my children have something to do with that! Congrats! That’s my house’s favorite hit!”

Another fan wrote, “The song i grew up listening to. I’m 31 now.” Another follower still listens to it, “Currently jamming it right now!!!”

There is no way this song alone hasn’t made Sean Kingston enough money to pay $900,00K for two designer watches. If this song didn’t work, he has plenty of hits overseas that have made him a lot of cash. So, what’s the issue here?
