‘DWTS’ Emma Slater Files For Divorce From Sasha Farber: Says It’s Amicable

“Dancing With The Stars” Pro Emma Slater Has Filed to divorce her husband, Sasha Farber, after almost 5 years together. In court documents obtained by The Blast, Slater is citing “irreconcilable differences,” and also wants to terminate the possibility of awarding spousal support.

The pair who got married on March 25th, 2018, have reportedly been separated since April last year.

In what is being described as an “amicable” split, Slater has officially filed to legally dissolve her union with Farber. Court documents obtained by The Blast read, “Petitioner & Respondent intend on amicably resolving all property issues in a subsequent Stipulated Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage. Petitioner reserves the right to amend if necessary.”

Slater is asking the court to dissolve her marriage and to also terminate the possibility of awarding spousal support. The duo’s marriage did not produce any kids so there is no request or battle over child support.

Based on the facts presented, the couple’s divorce will be finalized in no time as there isn’t much to fight over in court. The duo who were married for almost fives years, also have no intention of getting back together.

Emma Slater And Sasha Farber Got Married Five Years Ago

Slater and her soon-to-be ex-husband, Farber got married in a gorgeous wedding ceremony in March, 2018. The duo said their vows in front of friends and loved ones and “Dancing With The Stars” alum.

The former couple got engaged during a live taping of their popular ABC ballroom dancing show back in October 2016, after dating on-and-off for a while.
