Tig Notaro Roasts Herself Over Hilarious ‘Celebrity Wheel of Fortune’ Flub

Tig Notaro proved she’s hilarious on stage and off. The comedian reflected on her infamous Celebrity Wheel of Fortune flub with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show

Notaro competed on the third season of game show last October and had a very memorable moment. While attempting to solve a puzzle which read “crashing my…” and a variety of letters teasing the second half “exercise bike,” she took the game to a whole new level.

Earnestly, the comedian guessed, “crashing my exorcism bill,” which definitely fit the spooky October theme, but was nonetheless incorrect.

Notaro laughed off the hilarious moment when Fallon brought it up during Wednesday’s (Feb. 8) broadcast of the talk show.

Fallon played a clip of Notaro’s unfortunate guess, which showed game show host Pat Sajak and Notaro’s fellow contestants, Nikki Glaser and Thomas Lennon, stifling their laughter.

“I’m not going to be humiliated on national television,” Notaro said in the clip, to which Sajak joked, “It’s too late for that.”

Now, months later, Fallon asked the comedian, “What was going through your head at the moment?” She replied, “Well, first of all I was thinking, ‘I’d never imagined I’d be on Wheel of Fortune.’ Second of all, I was thinking, ‘I don’t imagine I’ll be very good at this.’”

Notaro joked, “And then third, I was like, ‘Well, I’m correct.’”

The comedian went on to state that she “wasn’t nervous.” She said, “You know, I was wrong. I was just wrong.”
