Comanchero boss Allan Meehan has been arrested in a raid on the Gold Coast.

The 35-year-old was arrested by Gold Coast major crime detectives at a home in Benowa Waters this morning.

The arrest is in connection to a warrant issued by NSW Police.

He was taken into custody without incident and is expected to be extradited to NSW, a statement from Queensland Police read.

“This arrest involved detectives from the Organised Crime Gangs Group, New South Wales Criminal Group Squad and the Australian Federal Police National Anti-Gangs and is a reminder to gang members, that National Taskforce Morpheus are committed to working together to safeguard the community,” the statement read.
