Ten headstones have been desecrated with spray-painted Nazi symbols inside a heritage-listed Jewish Cemetery in New South Wales.
Police believe it was an anti-Semitic hate crime.

The Maitland Jewish Cemetery, which is 33 kilometres from Newcastle cemetery dates back to 1846 and is listed on the New South Wales State Heritage Register.
