She left behind children Lorenz, now 16, Tate, now 14, and Tia, now 11.
Speaking on her Blended podcast, Kate told author Emily Dean how moved she was by Rebecca attending her daughter Tia’s fourth birthday party despite being gravely ill.
She said: “This is so emotional. It’s making me cry because Tia’s mum (had) done that for her as well.
“I don’t know if I’ve spoken about this but it was her mission to go to her birthday party.

“It’s very similar and they were so ill but the strength to go to their children’s birthday party. It makes my heart warm but it’s sad as well.

“I put myself in the position as a mum to think of anyone who is a parent and is going to pass away and what is going through their head and in those final moments, they’re still thinking of their children and what’s best for their children.
“That makes me emotional because it’s amazing that you could be so selfless and still putting yourself at the bottom of the pile.”
Kate married Rio in 2019 and they welcomed their first child Cree two years later.
Earlier this week the former Towie star, 31, revealed that she and Rio, 44, are expecting their second child together.
In an Instagram reveal, she could be seen walking away from the camera before turning, and pulling her coat away to show her bump.
“We’ve been praying for you,” Kate captioned the post, as her fans rushed to congratulate her.
