Why Was Brikz Arrested?

In 2017, the Kwaito musician was accused of raping a 17-year-old relative and given a 15-year prison term.

According to Singabakho Nxumalo, a spokesperson for the correctional service, the image is vintage, and someone decided to trend it to propagate false information.

Officials asserted in a statement: “Brickz remains behind bars. An old image shared on social media is being used to promote false information.”

The culprit must spend the minimal amount of time necessary, as per rules and since the correctional services act, it is well known that he still needs to. Inmates are similarly evaluated for placement on parole regardless of their level of public visibility.
