Kathy Hilton defended Kim Kardashian after the Skims founder was lambasted for wearing a questionable outfit choice to Paris Hilton’s Christmas party last week.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star told TMZ that the backlash Kardashian received over the controversial ensemble was “silly” and “ridiculous.”
“Everybody’s just [supposed] to come as they want and be comfortable,” Kathy said.
And when pressed if she thought there was anything “wrong” with what Kardashian wore, Kathy, 63, doubled down, saying, “No. She always looks beautiful.”
Last Week, Kardashian, 42, was savagely roasted by social media users when she showed up to the Hilton family’s Christmas party wearing a cropped concert T-shirt and studded black leather pants.
The garb seemed to clash with the Hilton family’s more festive looks.
Paris, for her part, wore a red mini dress and her sister Nicky looked Christmas-ready in a red and green floral getup.
Meanwhile, Kathy looked like a gift-wrapped Yuletide present in a red and green tartan gown topped with a big red bow.

Even Kim’s mom, Kris Jenner, looked more festive in a chic black pantsuit adorned with lacy flowers.
Critics dragged Kardashian for her outfit choice, with many labeling the look “ridiculous,” “horrible” and “disrespectful.”
“Kim’s outfit is for a rock concert, not a Christmas party,” one troll wrote on Instagram at the time, while another added, “Did Kim not understand the holiday party attire assignment?”
“Everyone dressed all nice and Kim looks like a 15YO teen that was forced to her parents [sic] party,” a third wrote, while a fourth asked, “WTF is Kim wearing?!”

But 41-year-old Paris seemed unphased by her friend’s style and happily posted a photo with Kardashian at the party to her Instagram.
“My mom always throws the most iconic parties. 👑 Loved celebrating the holidays with family and friends this weekend. 💖🎄 What are your favorite traditions this time of year? 🤔 #Slivmas ✨,” Paris captioned the photo last week.
In her defense, the “Kardashians” star wore the same outfit to Mason Disick’s Bar Mitzvah party earlier that evening, though some deemed the outfit equally as inappropriate for that event as well.
Meanwhile, the mom-of-four looked drastically more festive at her own family’s holiday party on Christmas Eve. Kardashian opted for a silver sparkly gown for the occasion.
