According to the reports, Rex Minter was travelling in the single-engine Cessna that took off from Santa Monica Airport around 3 p.m. on Thursday en route to Malibu. Reports have further claimed that the pilot of the flight was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical assistance. The news about Rex Minter’s unfortunate passing away was confirmed by the City of Santa Monica and current Mayor Gleam Davis separately. Reports have also stated that the Firefighters removed two people from the plane. One of the passengers also suffered a massive cardiac arrest at the time.
