Sister Wives' Meri Brown Admits She's Open To Reconciling With Kody Amid Their Split

Kody and Meri Brown divorced in 2014 so that he could marry Robyn Brown and adopt her children from a previous relationship, according to Us Weekly. The point of the divorce was litigious rather than emotional, and Kody and Meri planned on staying together in a spiritual marriage. However, things were rocky between the two and in February 2021, Kody said he felt like he couldn’t end the marriage, but the wives could.

However, it looks like Kody was the one who opted for the marriage to end in this case, after all. In a preview clip for “Sister Wives: One on One,” Kody said, “If she wanted to move on and marry another, she wouldn’t get an argument with me,” per People. Meri said that Kody made the decision without speaking to her.

In another preview clip for “Sister Wives,” Kody admitted in a past confessional that he was open to working things out with Meri. She watched the clip of Kody speaking about a reconciliation and admitted that it was news to her. “That’s interesting that he felt like that… it makes me feel good that he was considering it but it didn’t last through the evening,” Meri said of the night from the past. “I would be open to it,” she added. It seems like the ball is in Kody’s court.
