Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ mother, Connie Boss Alexander, doesn’t have the words to express how she feels about her son’s sudden death, but thanked everyone for their kind messages.
“Family and friends, thank you for all the love, prayers and encouragement,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories Thursday.
“Please know I see all the messages, texts, posts and the phone calls. I can’t use words right now. Please know I will reach out when I can.”
Alexander concluded her post by sending a message to her late son and asking her followers to “please keep us in prayer.”
“Stephen Laurel, your mother loves you to eternity and beyond. 💙 💔,” she wrote.
The “So You Think You Can Dance” alum died by suicide on Tuesday at the age of 40, leaving behind his wife, Allison Holker, and their three children, Weslie, 14, Maddox, 6, and Zaia, 3.
The father of three reportedly took a ride-share service from his Los Angeles home and checked into a nearby motel. A motel employee discovered Boss’ body on Tuesday inside his room.
On Friday, authorities told TMZ that Boss left a suicide note at the scene of his death, alluding to challenges he’s previously faced. However, the outlet says it’s “unclear exactly what he was referring to” in the note.
After his death, Holker released a statement, reflecting on what kind of person Boss was.
“Stephen lit up every room he stepped into,” the dancing pro, 34, said in a statement to People on Wednesday. “He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him.

“He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”
Boss was also remembered by many of his close friends, including Ellen DeGeneres, whom he worked for as a DJ on her eponymous talk show from to 2014 until 2022.
The “Finding Dory” star, 64, wrote that she was “heartbroken,” adding that Boss “was pure love and light.”

“He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him,” DeGeneres wrote. “Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children – Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia.”
Channing Tatum, who worked alongside Boss on “Magic Mike XXL,” also took to social media to pay tribute to his late friend.
“I have no words. There aren’t any. My head or heart can not understand this,” the actor, 42, wrote on Instagram on Wednesday.
“There is just so much… i don’t know where to begin. I love you. I’ll see you again my friend. Until then.”
