Officials have released 911 audio from a woman who was reportedly kidnapped by her estranged husband last month and almost buried alive.

According to Fox News, victim Young An, 42, called 911 via her Apple watch despite being hogtied and gagged by Chae An, 53. The suspect allegedly came to his estranged wife’s home and abducted her before he was seen speeding past a police cruiser with the victim in the back.

Lacey police said Chae also stabbed Young before trying to bury her alive in a 19-inch deep hole in the woods.

According to Fox News, the couple was in a dispute over money amid a divorce.

In the 911 call obtained by Fox, a dispatcher can be heard asking, “What’s going on there?” They also ask Young if she is hurt.

Young, who is muffled, is heard begging for help. Chae allegedly snatched the watch off of her and beat the device with a hammer but the call remained active.

A police officer responded to the residence minutes after the reported abduction, which authorities were unaware was transpiring at the time.

Chae is accused of dumping Young in woods located seven miles from her home. He attempted to cover her with branches and leaves, according to Fox.

However, hours later, Young reportedly crawled out of the hole and ran for roughly 30 minutes before being spotted by a good Samaritan. Police found Chae in the woods about six hours later, Fox also reported.

Young reportedly had a restraining order against Chae, but she had it rescinded before the October 16 incident. Chae, who is charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree domestic violence kidnapping, and first-degree domestic violence assault, remains jailed without bond.
