Clark County Administrator Rob Telles was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of killing Las Vegas Journal-Review investigative reporter Jeff German.

Telles was taken into custody at his Las Vegas home, according to KVVU-TV in Las Vegas. The Journal-Review confirmed the arrest on Wednesday.

German had reported that Telles was accused of fostering a hostile work environment and had an inappropriate relationship with an employee, according to the Review-Journal. German was working on another story about Telles before he was killed.

Telles had blamed the reporter’s articles for the loss of his reelection bid in the Democratic primary election in June.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
