Erik Johnson death and obituary | cause of death
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erik Johnson, there was a shooting in Wiley Street and Southwest 56th Avenue at around 8:30 p.m.
Police responded to the area and found two men shot down and they were both taken to Memorial Regional Hospital after the shooting but later died.
one of the victim was identified by officials as 55-year-old Erik Johnson.
Johnson, father of a 3-year-old girl, worked for the City of Hollywood in the sanitation and water department for nearly 27 years, said his family.
Although funeral arrangements have yet to be announced, it goes without saying the family is dealing with a devastating loss and could use your support. On behalf of the family, we are asking for your prayers, love, and support during this very difficult and painful time for them.
