The winning running back strategy to follow in fantasy football drafts

In the fourth of a six-part fantasy football draft preview series, Fantasy Insanity takes a look at running backs. Next week: wide receivers.

Look, we can’t really say the simple words to express our feelings when it comes to fantasy running backs. Why? Because that phrase would be: We like ’em young.

No. Just no. You can’t say those words in that order, regardless the context. So instead, maybe … let’s see … We are unafraid of inexperience? The greener the better? Rookies rule?

All of those sort of get us to where we want to go, which is here: Youth is a primary component to our RB draft strategy. Be it regression from age, from workload, or the higher risk of injury with older players, but history has taught us to be skeptical of older running backs.
