HALLE Berry has delivered the perfect response to ex-husband David Justice after his brutal swipe last week.
The Catwoman icon was married to former pro baseball player from 1993 to 1997 – but despite their divorce nearly two decades ago, tensions still simmer.
After David questioned her “motherly” skills last week, Halle proved she wasn’t bothered by sharing bikini photos looking happy and content on board a yacht.
She simply captioned the photos: “Phew…! cooking, cleaning and mothering.”
Since splitting from David, Halle has gone on to have two children: 17-year-old daughter Nahla with Gabriel Aubrey, and 11-year-old Maceo Robert with ex-husband Oliver Martinez.
In the new photo collection, Halle was celebrating her birthday in style on a luxury getaway with boyfriend Van Hunt as well as her children.
Sharing pictures of her enjoying a day in the sun, drinking wine and sunbathing, Halle appeared to be at ease as she lazed on a catamaran, laughed with a cocktail in hand, cuddled up with Van in bed, and received a letter from her young son.
Halle is enjoying a break to celebrate her 59th birthday yesterday, and fans were quick to send their love to her as she marked her big day in style.
She ended the day with a slice of chocolate cake, which she also took a picture of.
The pictures were in stark contrast to David’s swipe at her during an appearance on the All The Smoke podcast, which was released last week.
Reflecting on his marriage to Halle, David said: “I’m thinking, ‘OK, if we have kids, is this the woman I want to have kids with and build a family with?’
“And at that time, as a young guy, [Halle] don’t cook, don’t clean, don’t really seem motherly… and then we start having issues.”

Ultimately he notes that their whirlwind romance did not set them up for a longstanding marriage noting: “She asked me to marry her after knowing me for five months.
“I said OK, but I don’t know if my heart was really into it. I didn’t want to make her feel bad and say no.”
