BOLO: Pregnant Teen Missing After Argument with Boyfriend, Family Says

Police in Massachusetts are deploying both dogs and drones to locate an 18-year-old teen who hasn’t been seen in a week.

Kylee Monteiro, described by her family as 11 weeks pregnant, was last seen on August 7 at County Street in Rehoboth, according to the Rehoboth Police Department.

Family members are concerned for her safety following a recent argument with her boyfriend, ABC 5 reports.

“That’s the last contact that she’s made with anyone was Thursday through text message,” Kylee’s sister, Faith Monteiro, said. “The last known time when we heard her voice was Wednesday night.”

Faith told ABC 6 that her sister had been living in a home for pregnant and homeless women when she went to her boyfriend’s home to pick up her belongings.

“I have so many theories just like everybody else, like I said it’s a lot of speculation,” Faith said. “We really don’t know what happened, so we just have to let the police do their job.”

“She’s amazing. She’s so friendly and lovable, she’s outgoing, but also timid at the same time. She doesn’t have survival instinct to survive out here on her own. That’s for sure.”

Meanwhile, a friend said Kylee’s said Kylee claimed she didn’t feel safe before she stopped responding.

“She was like ‘I don’t feel safe right now something’s not right.’ I tried talking with her after that, and she just stopped responding to me after that. I just want her to know that like, we miss you, and we’re not going to stop trying to find you.”

Kylee Monteiro is described as standing 6 feet tall with a heavyset build. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red T-shirt with the phrase ‘Get Over It’ printed on the front.

She’s also known to carry a white bag.

Anyone with information should contact the Rehoboth Police Department.
