New episodes of Meghan Markle’s lifestyle series drop later this month on Netflix.
Meghan Markle is bringing more of her signature style to Netflix.
On Tuesday, the streamer announced a premiere date for season 2 of her lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan. New episodes will drop Tuesday, August 26.
Netflix has also released the first trailer for season 2, which features the Duchess of Sussex spending time with Queer Eye’s Tan France, Chrissy Teigen, chef David Chang, and chef, World Central Kitchen founder José Andrés, and other notables.
Prince Harry doesn’t appear in the teaser. But he does get a mention at the end of the video.
“Do you know who doesn’t like lobster?” Meghan says to Andrés. “My husband.”
“And you marry him?” he replies incredulously.
Meghan and Harry’s new Netflix deal a ‘downgrade,’ insiders say
The trailer drop came one day after Netflix announced it had extended its partnership with the Sussexes – but with one big change. Unlike the exclusive deal the couple previously had with the streamer, they now have”first-look deal” for all of their production company’s Archewell’s film and television projects. The Hollywood Reporter described the new agreement as a “downgrade.”
Another change? Netflix has also partnered with Meghan on her lifestyle brand, “As ever.”
“We’re proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As ever brand,” Markle said in a statement. “My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision.”
Netflix also announced on Monday that a With Love, Meghan holiday special would premiere in December.
With Love, Meghan Season 2 premieres August 26 on Netflix.
