A man has been arrested following a police operation at Sydney Airport this morning.
Footage by a 2GB radio listener shows Australian Federal Police officers arresting a man in the food court of the domestic terminal early this morning.
Eyewitnesses reported there had been a partial lockdown of Terminal Two prior to the arrest.
“No injuries occurred as a result of the incident. An arrest has been made and the airport is operating normally,” a Sydney Airport spokesperson said.
There is no threat to the public and the lockdown has since lifted.
Flights are operating as normal.
