Georgina Rodríguez and Cristiano Ronaldo are engaged!
The model announced the news via Instagram on Monday, sharing a pic of herself rocking a massive diamond rock on that finger as the soccer pro’s hand rested underneath hers.
“Yes I do. In this and in all my lives,” she captioned the post.
Rodríguez’s comments section was filled with fans congratulating the happy couple on their engagement.
“May you be happy forever ❤️ Congratulations ✨,” wrote one user.
“Congratulations the time has come 😍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻,” added another.
“So happy for you!! 🤩🫠🥲😍❤️ #truelove,” commented a third netizen.
“Congratulations 💖 so exciting!” said a fourth person.
Ronaldo, 40, and Rodríguez, 31, began dating in 2017 after meeting at the Gucci store where she worked.
The athlete and the Vogue cover model sparked marriage rumors last summer when Ronaldo referred to Rodríguez as his “wife.”
“Most important thing is, it’s not what you do, it’s you have to do. When I’m not training in the club, I like to work with my wife at home,” he said in a clip shared via Instagram in July 2024.
Ronaldo’s publicist told Page Six in a statement at the time, “I cannot confirm nor deny that Cristiano has married Georgina. I simply do not know.”
He welcomed son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., 15, with an unknown woman and twins Eva and Mateo, 8, via surrogacy. He also shares daughters Alana, 7, and Bella, 3, with Rodríguez.
Ronaldo and Rodríguez experienced heartbreak when Bella’s twin brother, Ángel, died during childbirth in 2022.
The following March, the “I Am Georgina” star opened up about the infant’s death for the first time.
“My priority right now is my family and my children. I’m so happy and so thankful,” she said on Season 2 of the docuseries.
“Life goes on. I have reasons to move on and be strong.”
