How Jennifer Lopez Reacted After She Was Denied Entry Into a Chanel Store

Jennifer Lopez may be a global superstar but she didn’t feel the love when she tried entering a Chanel store in Turkey. JLo was actually told she was not even allowed inside.

So why did the store deny Lopez from entering?

Jenny from the Block was in Istanbul for her Up All Night: Live tour on Aug. 4, and decided to hit up Istinye Park, which is an upscale shopping center in the city. According to Turkiye Today, when she went to enter the Chanel store, a security guard who did not recognize the “On the Floor” artist wouldn’t let her in.

Lopez reacted by simply saying, “OK, no problem,” before walking away.

She then took her business elsewhere and reportedly dropped thousands of dollars in neighboring retailers Celine and Beymen.

Patronlardunyasi.com noted that the Chanel employee later realized who she was, but when Lopez was offered an invitation back to the store, she declined.

The Kiss of the Spider Woman actress began her 19-stop summer tour on July 8 in Vigo, Spain, with various stops in other European countries including Poland, Romania, Hungary, and Italy. The concert in Turkey was said to be the largest production in the country this year.
