SHAWN Mendes has become the latest A-lister to pitch up in the celeb-packed Cotswolds.
I can reveal the Canadian singer has fallen for the tiny village of Great Tew — already home to the likes of Posh and Becks and Simon Cowell.

With just 200 or so locals, the Stitches star is hard to miss, and residents say he’s regularly spotted in its cafes and pubs.
One told me: “The word is he’s rented a little place here for some peace and quiet before his tour.
No one ever asks for selfies, so he must love being left alone — though heads do turn when he walks in.”
In fact, last time he popped into a cafe he got told off for ordering just before the kitchen closed.

“They told him to hurry up,” my source laughed. “Poor lad — he’s the talk of the village.”
Shawn’s ears may have stopped burning last night when he jetted to Budapest for the first date of his tour, which will also take in Denmark, Austria, Germany and London’s O2 Arena before moving to the US.
His most recent album, Shawn, came out late last year, with the star saying: “It helped me reconnect with myself, allowing me to work through emotions, find clarity and feel stronger.”
Sounds like Great Tew is the perfect place for just that.
