Pro-Palestine protesters have shut down Sydney Harbour Bridge to hold a rally to demand a ceasefire in Israel and allow aid into Gaza.
After holding a march every Sunday since October 7, 2023, this marks the first time Palestine Action Group has taken its weekly rally to Sydney’s famous landmark.
A heavy police presence is already in force, with thousands expected to march across the bridge in Sydney, while a protest is planned in Melbourne in solidarity.
