Jenelle Evans and David Eason have retained adjacent parcels of land in their divorce. What an awkward neighbor moment that would be.

The Teen Mom marriage that we thought would never end has finally come to a close. Jenelle Evans and David Eason finalized their divorce on July 11. Now they’ve finally addressed their shared property. A judge helped the couple divide what they amassed during their relationship earlier this week. The split of their property, dubbed “the land,” would make for a great reality TV moment, if only a network would take a shot on the troubled North Carolina natives.

Jenelle Evans and David Eason split their assets

While Jenelle Evans and David Eason finalized their divorce earlier this month, they still had some assets to divide and child custody agreements to work out. There has been no movement on the child custody issue, but, according to the Ashley Reality Roundup Group, the couple has divided up their marital assets. Evans retained ownership of the house on their North Carolina property, as well as some of the surrounding land. She was also awarded most furnishings and electronics inside the home. A judge ruled that Evans can also keep her she-shed. David Eason hardly walked out empty-handed. While Evans is keeping the house, Eason was awarded adjacent parcels where he built two workshops. The couple also divided vehicles, jewelry, and other random assets acquired during the marriage.

The land split is especially interesting. In theory, based on the way the property was split, Jenelle Evans and David Eason could be neighbors if reality got wild enough. He could, technically, build a small home on the parcels he was awarded, while Evans could, technically, return to the land and the home she was awarded at any time. It would make them neighbors. Now, that’s unlikely to happen, but we like to imagine the reality TV gold it would be if it did.

So, where are they living now?

While Evans and Eason own adjacent plots of land at the moment, neither of them resides on or near the property. Eason is much closer than Evans. He is currently living with his girlfriend, Kenleigh Heatwole, in a property she owns, roughly 40 minutes from where Evans and Eason once made their love nest. Prior to moving in with Heatwole, Eason took up residence in the boat he was also awarded in the split.

Following her separation from Eason, Evans opted to move across the country. While she seemed to seriously consider moving to Florida for a brief moment, Evans eventually packed up her three kids and moved to Las Vegas, where her then-partner, August Keen, was living. The couple has since split. Still, Evans is living in Vegas and doesn’t seem to have plans to leave anytime soon. What she’ll do with the home she now owns in North Carolina is anyone’s guess. Considering the notoriety of the property and its seemingly off-the-beaten-path location, it might be a hard sell.
