FKA Twigs is no longer pursuing her abuse lawsuit against Shia LaBeouf.
The “Two Weeks” singer filed to dismiss the case with prejudice on July 18 — two months before the trial was scheduled to begin in September, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.
“Committed to forging a constructive path forward, we have agreed to settle our case out of court,” Twigs and LaBeouf said in a joint statement provided by their respective attorneys, Bryan Freedman and Shawn Holley.
“While the details of the settlement will remain private, we wish each other personal happiness, professional success and peace in the future,” the statement concluded.
In her December 2020 filing, the “Cellophane” hitmaker, 37, accused her ex of sexual battery, assault and infliction of emotional distress during their year-long relationship.
In the court documents, she described an alleged incident that took place after Valentine’s Day 2019, claiming LaBeouf threatened to crash the car while recklessly driving with the pair inside if she didn’t declare her love for him.
She claimed she begged LaBeouf, 39, to let her out of the car, and was later assaulted by the “Peanut Butter Falcon” actor after he pulled over at a gas station.
The two were driving home from a trip to the desert during which the “Honey Boy” star allegedly woke Twigs while in a rage and choked her.
Twig, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, also claimed LaBeaouf knowingly gave her a sexually transmitted disease.
At the time, LaBeouf responded to Twigs’ allegations, saying, “I’m not in any position to tell anyone how my behavior made them feel.
“I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say.”
Twigs met LaBeouf after she joined the cast of “Honey Boy” in 2018. However, they didn’t start dating until after filming wrapped on the movie — at which point, the “Transformers” star was separated from his wife, Mia Goth.
