The Philadelphia Phillies had a laugh at the expense of the CEO and HR boss of Astronomer after they were caught on camera cuddling at a Coldplay concert

The Philadelphia Phillies had a laugh at the expense of the CEO and HR boss who have gone viral for being caught on camera cuddling at a Coldplay concert.

The clip of Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and his Head of People Kristin Cabot has set the internet ablaze in recent days after their intimate moment was caught by a kisscam during the band’s Boston concert on Tuesday night.

The company has launched a HR investigation into the incident and Daily Mail has since revealed that Cabot is currently married to another CEO.

And, as baseball returned after the MLB All-Star break on Friday night, the Phillies couldn’t help but give their own take on the episode.

During their game against the Los Angeles Angels, the Phillies broadcast their own kisscam on the huge screen at Citizens Bank Park.

Set to Coldplay’s song ‘Speed of Sound’ – a huge hint at what was to come – the cameras managed to find some happy couples who shared a kiss.

But then the camera cut to the team’s two mascots, who were stood in the exact same pose as Byron and Cabot were when they appeared on camera at the concert.

Then, just as the red-faced duo did, one of them dived out of shot  and the other turned their back in a desperate attempt to hide their identity.

The moment caused the entire Phillies stadium to burst out laughing but the fun didn’t end there.

The jumbotron operator then found another fan somewhere in the crowd who had come prepared with his own take on the viral moment.

The male fan proudly held a sign aloft that read ‘this is my wife’, with the ‘is’ underlined for effect.

The fans burst out laughing once again and the man then kissed his wife to huge applause.

Byron and Cabot tried to hide when the kisscam panned to them at Boston’s Gillette Stadium, as Coldplay front man Chris Martin joked: ‘They’re either having an affair, or are very shy.’ Neither Byron or Cabot have commented on the clip.

Byron is also married, with his wife Megan removing her last name from her social media accounts shortly after the exchange went viral.

It is unclear at this time how much the firm knew about their closeness, they have not clarified if the pair are still in their positions, or if they’ll be placed on leave.

In the viral moment, the two were seen enjoying the show when the camera operator working the jumbotron panned to them.

Byron had his arms wrapped around Cabot and the pair swayed in unison as the music rang out.

The intimate moment descended into chaos as panic set in, Byron seemingly fell to his knees while Cabot put her head in her hands as the crowd laughed.

The company said on Friday: ‘Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability.

‘The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly.’

Byron’s firm is valued at over $1 billion, with the company experiencing rapid growth since he became CEO in 2023.
