Road Rager Follows Home Woman Who Honked at Him, Assaults Her Husband

An Ohio man followed a woman home after she honked her horn at him for stopping in the middle of the road and assaulted her husband while terrorizing both of them.

Seth Schlueter, 30, has been charged with aggravated burglary, burglary, assault, aggravated menacing, endangering children, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence, the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office said.

The incident took place late in the afternoon on July 11, the sheriff’s office said.

“According to witness statements, Schlueter stopped his vehicle in the roadway, prompting the female victim to honk and drive around him,” the sheriff’s office said. “Schlueter then followed the woman to her home and then confronted the male homeowner on the front porch.”

The woman fled to the back of the house while her husband tried to de-escalate the situation but ultimately went to the back of the house to his wife.

Schlueter’s three children — all under the age of 5, according to WXIX — were in his car, and while the homeowners were behind the house, he took the kids out of the car and “entered the victim’s home without permission.” Where there, “he caused property damage.”

They homeowners returned from the back of house and found the road rager in their home, and Schlueter hit the man in the face, grabbed his children, and fled.

Deputies found Schlueter and took him into custody, and his children were released to family members.

Schlueter was initially charged with one count each of burglary and assault and three counts of endangering children. He was given a $100,000 bond on those charges. This week, however, a grand jury added aggravated burglary, aggravated menacing, and the DUI charge. At that point, his bond was revoked.
