Sarah Jessica Parker apperaed on ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’ and hinted that Carrie Bradshaw could return to her apartment.

We don’t yet know how season 3 of And Just Like That… will end, but fans are already feeling certain that Carrie Bradshaw’s shift to a townhome in Gramercy Park might not be as permanent as one might think. Sarah Jessica Parker is neither confirming nor denying that theory. Still, during a recent interview, she didn’t dismiss the idea of Carrie Bradshaw returning to her iconic studio apartment one more time.

Sarah Jessica Parker plays coy when questioned about Carrie Bradshaw’s studio

Sarah Jessica Parker isn’t giving away too much information about what is to come during the remainder of And Just Like That…’s third season. Still, she doesn’t seem to see the harm in dropping some coy hints. Parker appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen recently to discuss the reboot and her career. At one point, Cohen questioned Parker about Carrie Bradshaw’s painfully slow Gramercy Park decorating project.

He asked her if Carrie was going back to her studio. Parker said, “I don’t know, maybe,” while grinning. She then went on to suggest Carrie Bradshaw was being “intentional” with the process. Still, the grin seems to tell a story. Fans are hoping Carrie will go back to the Upper West Side. While it might feel like a tired storyline, it is one storyline that will ensure Carrie and Aidan are not the endgame couple of the series.

How many times has Carrie Bradshaw returned to her original apartment?

While Sarah Jessica Parker didn’t say for sure that Carrie Bradshaw would be returning to her iconic brownstone, fans wouldn’t be surprised if she did. After all, the iconic sex columnist has returned home to that studio whenever something isn’t going right in her life. She’s retreated to the walkup unit more times than you might think. In total, she’s moved in and out of the same vintage apartment four times.

When fans first met Carrie Bradshaw, she was living in the beloved studio, despite a different set being used for the pilot. She maintained the residence, which she was forced to purchase from Aidan Shaw, for the duration of the series, but she did try to leave it behind at one point. In season 6, she left the safety of her New York City neighborhood behind and moved to Paris. It didn’t take long for her to grow homesick. She returned to her beloved home when things with Aleksandr Petrovsky didn’t work out.

During Sex and the City: The Movie, she sold the brownstone unit, only to repurchase it from the new owner when her wedding never happened. She was living with Mr. Big by the time fans saw Sex and the City 2, but she still maintained the studio as a sort of office or storage space. In And Just Like That… season 1, she retreated to the studio following Mr. Big’s death. She attempted to move downtown, but once again returned ot her roots. At the end of season 2, she sold the apartment to Lizette to start over with Aidan Shaw, but something tells us it’s not the last we’ve seen of 245 East 73rd Street.
