Taking to her Instagram page, the host of the popular talk show Your View directed a message at President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, suggesting he temporarily step aside from office. Her post read:
“Dear @officialasiwajubat, please allow him to be President for six months while you take a leave of absence. Let’s see what kind of magic he claims he can perform. This level of desperation is becoming quite disturbing.”
Although Morayo refrained from naming anyone, many online users speculated that her message was directed at Labour Party’s Peter Obi. The assumption came shortly after a viral video showed Obi serving food at an event in Imo State a gesture seen by his supporters as a sign of humility, but dismissed by critics as a publicity stunt.
