“You were educated where? “- Donald Trump queries Joseph Boakai about his English accent

A video captures the moment US President, Donald Trump queried Joseph Boakai, Liberia’s president, about his educational background, impressed by his English accent.

In the now-viral video, Joseph Boakai, expresses desire for partnership with the United States to promote regional stability and conflict prevention.

Afterwards, Donald Trump questioned Joseph Boakai’s educational background based on his English accent.

“You speak good. Where did you learn to speak so beautiful English?. You were educated where?”, He inquired.

In response, Joseph Boakai revealed that he was educated in Liberia, with Donald Trump commending him over his accent.

Notably, Joseph Boakai schooled at the College of West Africa, one of Liberia’s prestigious secondary school.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Liberia in 1972.
