Gino explores his side of the open marriage in ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?’ Season 9 premiere
Jasmine and Gino’s messy relationship has entered a new phase in Happily Ever After? Season 9.
After she pressured Gino to agree to an open marriage in 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2, Jasmine stunned everyone – including her husband – when she announced during the tell-all that she was pregnant with another man’s baby. Now, 90 Day is going back in time to show what led to that shocking twist in Gino and Jasmine’s marriage.
In the Happily Ever After? season premiere, which was filmed seven months before the explosive Last Resort tell-all, Jasmine explains that she moved in with her boyfriend Matt after Gino kicked her out of the house. Meanwhile, Gino has connected with another woman.
“I’m finally exploring my side of the open marriage,” he says.
Gino heads to Las Vegas for his first face-to-face meeting with Natalie, a woman he connected with on social media. While he claims he still wants to make things work with his wife, he also admits that he’s upset because he believes she broke the rules they agreed to in their open marriage. He thinks he might find the intimacy he doesn’t have with Jasmine in a relationship with Natalie.
“We are having a great time together,” he says. “ I just want to have fun with this.”
For her part, Jasmine – who does not yet know about Natalie – is holding out hope that she and Gino can reconcile. She says she only stepped outside her marriage to meet her physical needs and that she still loves her husband.
“I don’t know what the f*ck to do,” she cries to Matt. “…I feel like this open marriage just ruined everything.”
Jasmine reacts to Gino’s new relationship
After the Happily Ever After? Season 9 premiere, Jasmine took to Instagram to answer fan questions. One person wanted to know her first impression of Natalie.
“It’s too early for me to have an opinion,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. But she said she felt Gino was not being entirely truthful with Natalie when she asked about his relationship status. He told her that he and his wife were no longer living together, but made no mention of the open marriage.
“It hurt to hear Gino was not honest about him still being married. However, I’m not surprised he lied to her,” Jasmine wrote. She also said she believed Gino was already texting with Natalie while he and Jasmine were supposedly working on fixing their marriage during filming for The Last Resort Season 2.
Jasmine also addressed the drama between her and Natalie that was hinted at in the Happily Ever After? teaser. One person wanted to know the outcome of a fight between the two women.
“You have to keep watching the show babe,” Jasmine replied. “All I can safely say now is I hope the check was worthy.”
