Bullets sprayed at Sydney home as toddler slept inside

Police are investigating after bullets were fired into a home where two adults and a toddler were sleeping at the time.

Officers made their way to Janamba Avenue in Kellyville after reports of a shooting at 3.10am today.

The home’s windows were damaged by the bullets, NSW Police said.

A man and woman in their 30s were asleep inside the home with a two-year-old child.

Shortly after, officers were called to a car fire on Gorman Avenue in Kellyville.

Fire and Rescue extinguished the fire, but the vehicle was destroyed.

The fire is being treated as suspicious and inquiries into the shooting are underway.
