FCI Seagoville has reportedly moved Josh Duggar from an honors dorm back to general population after some type of infraction.
Josh Duggar is sweltering in the Texas heat this summer. Reportedly, he has been moved from his honors dorm back into the general population. The rumored move comes just weeks after Duggar was denied public counsel and saw his release date extended. Nothing is going right for the convicted sexual predator. It seems, and no one in the Duggar family seems to really care. None of them has mentioned Josh in years.

Josh Duggar is having a rough time in Texas. The federal prison inmate has reportedly been booted from his honors dorm and is now roughing it in the general population at FCI Seagoville. Last month, the U.S. Sun spoke to an insider who claimed Duggatr had been living in a dorm reserved for well-behaved inmates since his transfer to the prison in 2022 until recently. The insider claims the honors dorm is highly sought after thanks to its amenities, such as air conditioning.
The insider didn’t share why Duggar might have been sent to live elsewhere, but it’s easy enough to read between the lines. The troubled eldest child of Jim Bob and Michele Duggar is likely having a problem following the rules. Disciplinary changes have varying consequences, ranging from the revocation of privileges to sentencing extensions. Josh Duggar has been smacked with both this year.
Josh Duggar has had previous trouble at FCI Seagoville
If Josh Duggar was booted from the honors dorm thanks to a disciplinary infraction, it wouldn’t be the first time he has been in trouble with the staff at FCI Seagoville. The prison will not comment on specific inmates. Still, there were indications of a problem a few years ago. In 2023, insiders claimed Duggar had been shipped off to solitary confinement after corrections officers caught him with contraband. According to the rumors, the father of seven was in possession of a cell phone. Cell phones are strictly banned in federal prisons.
While the institution neither confirmed nor denied that an incident had occurred, contraband is reportedly a significant problem among the prison population. Reports of Duggar’s infraction also coincided with an update to his release date, which is a good indication that disciplinary action has been taken.
