NSW coast smashed by 'bomb cyclone'

About 10,500 customers were left without power, according to AusGrid.

There were 6500 customers impacted in the Hunter-Newcastle region and another 3000 in the Central Coast.

At 10am on Wednesday, there were just under 1000 affected customers in Sydney.
