The accident happened at Evelyn Street in Macquarie Fields about 4.20am today.

Police said a Porsche Macan had hit an electricity transformer before continuing through a front fence and slamming into a single-storey house, coming to rest on top of a bed.

Two people are believed to have fled the scene.

No one was home at the time of the crash and there was no reports of injuries.

Pictures from the scene show a trail of destruction and rubble with the Macan partially lodged inside the home.

The wrecked vehicle was towed away.
