‘I was hoping we’d get to this day and not have so many people asking so many questions,’ O’Day said as the defense wrapped up its closing argument in the high-profile case.

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges is drawing to a close.

On Friday, the hip-hop mogul’s defense wrapped up its closing argument in the high-profile case. Jury deliberations are expected to begin on Monday, with Combs facing the possibility of life in prison if convicted. But some insiders aren’t convinced that he’ll end up serving time on all the charges.

Aubrey O’Day, who appeared on Diddy’s Making the Band series and has been commenting regularly on the trial, fears that the case against him isn’t rock solid.

“I was hoping we’d get to this day and not have so many people asking so many questions … you hope to get to this day pretty certain,” she said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

The former Danity Kane member added that she would have preferred that the case against Diddy be more of a “slam dunk.” Specifically, she questioned whether he would be convicted on the racketeering conspiracy charge.

“You don’t want a hung jury,” she said. “It’s a lot of money and a lot of time to do this again.”

Though O’Day has concerns about the way the prosecution presented its case, she’s refusing to consider the possibility that Diddy might walk away a free man.

“I’d feel best if he was found guilty on everything,” she added. “I don’t have [an acquittal] in the range of possibility in my thoughts right now … there would be a lot of danger out there.”
