Chilling notebooks found in accused Minnesota assassin Vance Boelter’s car detail meticulous planning of twisted attack

Notebooks found in the car of accused Minnesota assassin Vance Boelter reveal the chilling, meticulous planning he allegedly put into the twisted attack on two Democratic lawmakers and their spouses, photos show.

Images released by the US Attorney General of Minnesota show lists of websites used to find the addresses of state and federal elected officials scrawled on a notepad — even noting when the services were free or paid.

The notes often identified the home addresses of officials, according to the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota.

Boelter, 57, of Green Isle, Minnesota, is charged with stalking and murdering Minnesota Democratic Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, in addition to stalking and shooting State Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Acting US Attorney Joseph H Thompson announced on Monday.

He was arrested on Sunday night in a field less than a mile from his home after the largest manhunt in Minnesota state history.
