Police in Western Australia have launched an urgent search for a car that was stolen with a two-year-old inside.

Police say the car, a dark blue Hyundai i30, was stolen from a hotel in the central Perth suburb of Redcliffe at 2pm (AWST).

The car has the Western Australian registration of 1GWQ301.

Officers say the car was last seen in the Bayswater area near Guildford Road.

Anyone with information about the theft, or who have seen the car, have been urged to immediately contact police.
