RAPPER Rod Wave has insisted that he “committed no crimes” after he was arrested on assault and gun charges.
Rod Wave, real name Rodarius Green, was booked into jail on Tuesday after cops found two bullet-riddled cars in the driveway of his home.
The rapper was arrested in Fulton County, Georgia, over an incident last month, according to jail records obtained by The U.S. Sun.
Green, 26, has been slapped with an assault charge and is accused of pointing a gun or pistol at another person.
He also faces charges of reckless conduct as well as criminal damage to property in the second degree.
The Florida native is accused of showing reckless conduct and allegedly conspired to commit a felony.
“There is no truth to these charges,” Green’s attorneys, Drew Findling and Marissa Goldberg, told TMZ.
“Rod Green was a victim of a burglary and committed no crimes.
“How he was even charged as a result of this situation is incomprehensible. This will absolutely be resolved favorably to Mr. Green.”
Green allegedly fired off 14 rounds with a Glock handgun after burglars broke into his home.
Cops arrived at Green’s home in Milton, 30 miles north of Atlanta, on April 21 after his neighbors reported hearing yelling outside.
Officers found the rapper’s girlfriend, Mini Barbie – real name Manariah Andrews – distraught as she told them the house she shared with Green was burglarized.
After finding bullet casings on the house’s stairs, cops found a gold Mercedes G Wagon that had been shot multiple times.
They then saw a black Rolls-Royce parked next to the G Wagon that had a single bullet hole.
There was a broken window and a hammer next to the house’s pool, and cops later noticed a black Glock handgun at the home, police records said.
Cops said Green had gotten into an argument with one of his associates while they were carrying out items from his burglarized home that night, police said.
Rod Wave’s charges
Rod Wave, real name Rodarius Green, faces 14 charges after his arrest on Tuesday.
The charges include:
- Possession of firearm during the commission of a felony
- Reckless conduct
- Criminal damage to property in the second degree
- Willful obstruction of law enforcement officers

- Conspiracy to commit a felony
A Glock pistol was then reportedly pulled and fired 14 times.
One round hit Green’s Rolls-Royce, while 11 bullets hit his associate’s Mercedes G Wagon. Cops haven’t found the final round.
Cops said that after neighbors called the cops, Green began to clean up shell casings and tried to leave the scene.
The hip-hop star was released from jail on a $50,000 bond on Tuesday, the same day he was booked.
The alleged assault broke Green’s active bond order from a previous charge, cops said.
RAP SHEET
In 2022, Green was accused of choking his ex-girlfriend at a Florida home, as reported by The Tampa Bay Times.
He allegedly strangled her until she couldn’t breathe and claimed she was talking to other men.
She told cops that she and Green had dated for four years before the altercation happened.
And, a police report, seen by The Tampa Bay Times, revealed the woman had a scratch on her neck.
Green was hit with a charge of domestic battery but it was later dropped.
Last year, he was arrested on possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, as reported by TMZ.
But his lawyers told the outlet the charge was incorrect.
“He is not a convicted felon and has never been a convicted felon,” Bradford Cohen and Mark Rankin told the outlet.
